Temperature and Humidity Bluetooth Sensor

Bluetooth Temperature and Humidity sensor based on the Nordic NRF52 SoC. NFC pairing feature for improved usability. The sensor is battery-powered with a continuous connection to the host and configurable measurement intervals. Though an extended battery life could have been achieved. The firmware is written in C and the Schematic has been designed with KiCAD.

RS-485 to Bluetooth Converter

Bus-powered real-time RS485 bus extension that forwards the bus data to the host. Applied in a security-sensitive application, with Bluetooth 4.2 encryption and host whitelist. Firmware was written in C the PCB was design with KiCAD.

GPIO extension over Bluetooth

Snack vending machine, controlled by an integrated Tablet. Locks are controller over a Bluetooth 4.0 GPIO extension board. The firmware for the GPIO extension as well as the PCB was design by myself. I did also the assembly of the first prototypes and tests. The Bluetooth SoC was from Cypress, Firmware was written in C and the PCB design was done with KiCAD.
